RFPS Refresher

This course is for you if you have completed the RFPS Surveyor training and you want to refresh and improve your RFPS skills and knowledge. The course is recommended if you completed your initial training some time ago and would like to reinforce your understanding of the basic principles.

Build on and develop your RFPS knowledge. You will be provided with a more detailed understanding of the various cellular technologies, giving you a better understanding of how to survey them and produce results to assist an investigation.

• The training will include updates on current issues affecting RFPS

• Understand basic radio principles

• Develop a basic understanding of 2G, 3G and 4G networks

• Understand factors affecting cell selection

• Examine off-air measurements with RFPS survey equipment

• Review practical issues affecting measurements of cells

• Practice performing a survey and presenting survey results.
